50 days of real success of Deiva Thirumagal


 
When Deiva Thirumagal was promoted initially, it was thought that the film is for children. As soon as the filmmakers realized the image it created, there were frantic efforts to make it out as a commercial flick; thanks to UTV Motion Pictures headed by Dhananjayan.
50 days of real success as still we find more audiences flocking into the theatres for watching the film. Vikram starrer ‘Deiva Thirumagal’ hadn’t kept everyone hooked onto this film before the release as many considered it to be an art or offbeat film. But the Midas-touch of UTV Motion Pictures added positive shades to the project.

An intense promotion during pre-n-post release helped it work better results in box office. ‘All credits for Dhananjayan for trusting the project’ praises director Vijay.

The film was prone to certain criticisms that it’s replicated from several Hollywood movies ‘I Am Sam’, ‘My Left Foot’, ‘Rain Man’ and other films. But finally, the emotional adherence between the film and audiences made it strike gold in box office.
